Pinot Noir Vigna Baragazza

The Baragazza vineyard is located in the highest altitude lands of the company for which a single clone of Pinot Noir, 777, was selected.
Soil: Moist and rich in minerals, serpentine, medium textured and rich in skeleton.
Year of planting: 1999
Harvest: Manual harvesting with crates.
Vinification : Destemming and soft pressing. Racking takes place after alcoholic fermentation in cement.
Aging: 1st and 2nd passage French oak barriques for 18 months and subsequent bottling.
TASTING NOTES:
Color: Compact and homogeneous garnet red .
Perfumes: Elegant nose of blueberry in alcohol and crème de cassis, withered red flowers, humus and nuanced tertiary animal nuances.
Taste: A dynamic freshness rests on an evolving tannic texture that articulates well with the alcohol content. Long and pleasantly savory finish.
