At San Donato, 300-400 meters above sea level, Marchesi Pancrazi has planted a vineyard which has resulted in a spicey wine with an agreeable taste.

This was achieved through using a variety of grapes including Pinot Nero and Gamaj.

The wine making is adapted to each type of grape, with the Gamaj grape providing the “macerazione carbonica”.

The San Donato wine is bottled in the spring. It has a ruby red color, and has an intense fruity flowery fragrance. It has an agreeable soft taste, typical of young wines.
